Join a high-acuity inpatient cardiology team as an Interventional Cardiology Physician in Everett, Washington. This locum tenens opportunity provides scheduled clinical coverage and overnight call in a Level II trauma setting near Puget Sound and the Cascade foothills.

Interventional Cardiology Locum Tenens Job Details

Interventional Cardiology Physician Requirements

• Physician with completed fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience; additional interventional cardiology experience preferred
• Current board certification required
• Active Washington physician license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Active DEA registration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to provide a current CV and complete credentialing requirements within the expected 30–60-day timeframe
• Availability for consistent multi-shift coverage is strongly preferred to promote continuity of inpatient cardiology care

Interventional Cardiology Physician Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology consultation and treatment
• Deliver on-site clinical care during scheduled 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shifts
• Respond to overnight clinical needs through beeper call coverage
• Evaluate approximately seven patients per shift and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
• Collaborate with hospital-based physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Provide timely documentation, handoffs, and follow-up recommendations
• Support reliable, consistent coverage across scheduled dates and ongoing locum tenens assignments
