Job Requirements
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification; board certification required
- Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA clinical experience
- Experience providing general anesthesia for adult patients; pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
- Proficiency in ventilation management and acute hemodynamic (volume/BP) management
- Preferred experience with arterial line placement and open heart/thoracic cases
Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including complex orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical (head and spine), and pediatric cases
- Provide perioperative airway and ventilation management as an anesthesia provider
- Evaluate and manage acute intraoperative volume and blood pressure issues
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely anesthesia documentation and adhere to institutional policies and safety protocols
