Job Details

• Role: Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,320 – $8,770
• Location: Somerset, PA 15501 (Laurel Highlands) — Pennsylvania travel CRNA position
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks (April – July 2026)
• Shift: 4–5 weekday shifts per week; typical hours 7:00am–3:00pm and 7:00am–5:00pm (varied days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Date: April 6, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Active CRNA certification and current state licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience providing general anesthesia in the OR
• Ability to independently manage a broad case mix across surgical specialties
• Strong perioperative communication, documentation, and patient-safety focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric anesthesia (patients under age 14) preferred
• Previous experience at a UPMC site preferred
• Comfort with varied case load and fast-paced operating room workflow

Responsibilities

• Arrive by 6:45am to prepare rooms, equipment, and anesthesia plans for daily cases
• Provide anesthesia care for ENT, orthopedic, ortho-spine, general surgery, urology, dental, pediatric dental, gynecology, uro-gynecology, ophthalmology, and podiatry procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and adhere to facility policies and best practices
