Locum Tenens CRNA – 12-week travel position in Somerset, PA (15501). Competitive pay $8,320–$8,770/week.

Job Details
- Role: Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,320 – $8,770
- Location: Somerset, PA 15501 (Laurel Highlands) — Pennsylvania travel CRNA position
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks (April – July 2026)
- Shift: 4–5 weekday shifts per week; typical hours 7:00am–3:00pm and 7:00am–5:00pm (varied days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Active CRNA certification and current state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience providing general anesthesia in the OR
- Ability to independently manage a broad case mix across surgical specialties
- Strong perioperative communication, documentation, and patient-safety focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia (patients under age 14) preferred
- Previous experience at a UPMC site preferred
- Comfort with varied case load and fast-paced operating room workflow
Responsibilities
- Arrive by 6:45am to prepare rooms, equipment, and anesthesia plans for daily cases
- Provide anesthesia care for ENT, orthopedic, ortho-spine, general surgery, urology, dental, pediatric dental, gynecology, uro-gynecology, ophthalmology, and podiatry procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and adhere to facility policies and best practices
