Description=Start Date: August (Temps might be an option) CRNA for a CRNA-independent practice hospital in Rocky Mount, VA, about 30 minutes south of Roanoke near Smith Mountain Lake. 3-12-month contracts with the option to extend. Job Description: This is a busy facility with 2 ORs and 2 procedure rooms, where we typically run 3 rooms/day Cases: primarily include general surgery, Gyn, ENT, plastics, podiatry, hand, peds ,urology, GI/endoscopy. The CRNAs work independently within the full scope of practice, including peripheral nerve blocks. We have call coverage from 330pm-11 pm weeknights and 7a-7 pm weekends Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm OT After scheduled shift Locum CRNAs are treated the same as permanent providers and are granted the same permission. Flexible with RTO requests Travel expenses will be covered, including Airfare, lodging, and car rental, or a monthly travel allowance, airfare, and car rental. ***WILLING TO LICENSE*** Key Details to Share with Providers: Carilion is seeking providers who are interested in longer-term assignments (6 12 months or longer). There are current locum providers who have been onsite for up to five years. Locum providers are treated as part of the permanent staff and receive the same permissions and access as permanent employees. Culture is a top priority for Carilion. They are looking for providers who value stability and continuity of care. Carilion is flexible with time off requests (RTO) and does not anticipate issues approving them.
