Locum Tenens CRNA Job Details
- Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens
- Specialty: General Anesthesia
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Start Date: August 1, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,660 - $8,070
- Setting: Hospital-based main OR and endoscopy environment
- Case Volume: Approximately 3-5 main OR cases per day and 12-15 endoscopy cases
- Supervision: Supervised practice model
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 1 month
CRNA Job Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA (AANA) required
- Active Massachusetts CRNA license or willingness to obtain required
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience preferred; 2 years of experience highly preferred
- Experience with general surgical cases, pediatric cases, obstetrical cases, neurosurgical cases, and regional anesthesia techniques preferred
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced surgical and anesthesia care setting
CRNA Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric general surgical cases
- Support IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia procedures
- Assist with obstetrical anesthesia and neurosurgical cases as needed
- Work under supervision within a team-oriented OR and endoscopy environment
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered anesthesia care
