Locum Tenens CRNA Job Details

• Position: Locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Specialty: General anesthesia
• Location: Katy, Texas 77449, near Houston
• Schedule: PRN; 8-hour day shifts; 5 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,420–$6,022
• Approximate Case Volume: 10–15 cases
• Openings: Multiple CRNA positions available

CRNA Job Requirements

• Current RN and CRNA credentials
• Current hands-on BLS and ACLS certifications
• Three or more years of CRNA experience
• Surgical anesthesia experience preferred
• Experience in critical care, emergency, or recovery settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-safety skills

General Anesthesia CRNA Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor general anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Manage patient airways and respond appropriately to anesthesia-related emergencies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and support safe post-anesthesia recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other clinical team members
• Document care accurately and follow applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
• Promote efficient workflow and consistently high-quality patient care
