Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,930 – $5,750
- Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 40 hours per week; call approximately once every 8 weeks
- Setting: High-acuity anesthesia coverage with a wide variety of surgical specialties
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
- Board certification required
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS
- Experience with complex anesthesia cases across multiple surgical specialties
- Ability to manage high-acuity patients and varied anesthesia techniques
- Virginia licensure or eligibility to practice as a CRNA in Virginia
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a broad mix of cases, including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, head and spine, neurosurgical, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures
- Deliver general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia as indicated
- Support trauma cases and other complex surgical volumes in a hospital-based anesthesia environment
- Perform pain management techniques, postoperative epidurals, and extremity blocks
- Assist with ventilation management and the evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Place central lines and PA catheters as needed
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team while maintaining strong independent clinical judgment
- Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care
