  • Schedule: 40 hours per week; shifts vary between 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24 hours
  • Typical Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00); flexibility required
  • Call: Required – 1 weekend call shift/month and 2 weeknight call shifts/month
  • Patient Population: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric (90%+ over age 12)
  • EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Board Certified
  • Active Idaho license or willingness to obtain Idaho state licensure (Idaho CRNA jobs)
  • DEA and CSR required
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience preferred (candidates with ?6 months considered)
  • Comfortable managing Level II Trauma cases
  • Skilled in spinal blocks and regional techniques; supervision-based anesthesia model (max 4:1 ratio)
  • Must provide full name, license status, and NPI for credentialing and submission

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, crani, plastics, thoracic, healthy pediatrics, ophthalmology, GI, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and MRI
  • Provide supervised anesthesia care within the hospital’s supervision model (not independent practice); perform spinal blocks and regional anesthesia as appropriate
  • Participate in scheduled shifts and required call coverage to support hospital anesthesia services
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams in a busy hospital environment
  • Document anesthesia care and perioperative records accurately in Epic EMR, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
  • Maintain patient safety, clinical quality, and adherence to anesthesia protocols and best practices
