Anesthesiologist Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional anesthesiology experience
  • MD or DO degree
  • Current authorization to practice anesthesiology in Pennsylvania
  • Experience providing anesthesia care for gastrointestinal procedures
  • Comfort managing up to four rooms in a high-volume GI environment with one anesthesiologist
  • Cardiac anesthesiology experience preferred
  • Ability to provide an NPDB Self-Query during credentialing
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety

General Anesthesiologist Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for scheduled surgical and procedural cases
  • Manage general, cardiac, and gastrointestinal anesthesia services as assigned
  • Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop individualized anesthetic plans
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide safe post-anesthesia care
  • Maintain efficient workflow across multiple operating and procedure rooms
  • Collaborate with surgeons, proceduralists, nurses, and other members of the care team
  • Respond appropriately to complex cases and changing patient needs
  • Document care accurately and follow applicable clinical and regulatory standards
