- Duration: 24 weeks
- Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime coverage with restricted weekday call and weekend/holiday call
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Setting: Level III trauma center
- Case Mix: Trauma, NICU, cardiac, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, and bariatrics
- Location: Tomball, Texas, in the Houston metro area
Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to practice in Texas
- Prior anesthesiology experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Ability to work in a care team model and supervise CRNAs
- Comfort managing a broad range of surgical and high-acuity cases
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across a wide variety of surgical specialties
- Supervise 1 to 3 operating rooms within a care team model
- Participate in weekday restricted call and weekend/holiday call coverage
- Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and clinical staff to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Support anesthesia care for trauma, specialty, and complex surgical cases
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and professional communication
