- Duration: 24 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,740-$3,200
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Schedule: 3 days per week with a mix of daytime coverage, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call, including weekends and holidays
- Practice Setting: High-acuity hospital anesthesia coverage
Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Cardiac fellowship training and TEE certification strongly preferred
- Experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Ability to manage solo cases and collaborate effectively within a care team model
- Comfort covering a broad range of complex surgical and procedural cases
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a diverse mix of complex cases, including trauma, cardiac, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary, general surgery, urology, and bariatrics
- Manage daily clinical coverage and participate in restricted and unrestricted call rotations
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for solo cases and collaborative care team workflows
- Support patient care across high-acuity service lines as needed
- Apply advanced skills in cardiac anesthesia and transesophageal echocardiography when needed
- Maintain clear documentation and effective communication with the surgical and anesthesia teams
