Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA); pediatric experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent nursing degree)
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact RN license valid in KY)
- Current national CRNA certification
- Hospital and/or payer credentialing completed prior to start
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care to pediatric patients across perioperative and acute care settings
- Perform preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative evaluation
- Emphasize disease prevention, health promotion, and safe anesthesia practices
- Diagnose, prescribe treatment plans, manage and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Serve as an educator, clinical resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate for children and families
