- Shift: 8-hour days (7:00am – 3:00pm)
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Call Schedule: Every 3rd night (3:00pm – 7:00am), 20-minute response time required
- Credentialing Time Frame: 30–60 days
- EMR System: MedAxion
- Number of Providers: 4 CRNAs
- Number of ORs: 3 operating rooms
Job Requirements
- Active CRNA certification (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience required
- DEA and CSR required
- AHA-issued BLS and ACLS (and other required certifications as applicable)
- Proof of competency in spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks (case logs required)
- State CRNA license preferred (or ability to obtain NM licensure timely)
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a broad case mix: endoscopy, OB/GYN, pediatrics, general surgery, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, acute pain management, and outpatient procedures
- Perform regional anesthesia including spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Practice independently in a collaborative CRNA model (no supervision required)
- Provide perioperative anesthesia care in the operating room and support emergent cases as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in MedAxion EMR
- Participate in scheduled call coverage with a 20-minute response time; support perioperative and emergency anesthesia needs
