• Main OR Schedule: Weekday options include 8-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• OB Coverage: Weekday and weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Clinical Program: 8 anesthetizing sites supported by 2 physicians and 6 CRNAs within a 260-bed clinical program
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech and Medaxion Pulse

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Massachusetts CRNA license
• Current Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR)
• Current DEA registration
• Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements, typically within 30–90 days
• Ability to provide safe, effective anesthesia care across a diverse surgical case mix

CRNA Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general anesthesia services for scheduled surgical and procedural cases
• Manage anesthesia care for bariatric, ENT, gynecologic, interventional radiology, orthopedic, plastics, podiatric, spine, thoracic, urologic, and vascular procedures
• Deliver OB anesthesia coverage, including scheduled call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop individualized anesthetic plans, and monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support high standards of patient safety and quality anesthesia care
