Seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a high-acuity clinical setting in Louisville, Kentucky. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2860-$3330
- Start Date: 9/14/2026
- Assignment Length: 26 weeks
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8 or 10 hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Patient Focus: High-acuity anesthesia cases including trauma, NICU, PICU, and care for healthy and medically complex pediatric patients
- EMR: Epic
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesiology experience required
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Kentucky medical license required
- PALS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience caring for high-acuity patients required
- Recent Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Must be comfortable treating both healthy and medically complex pediatric patients
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, dental, plastics, neurosurgery, spine, transplant, ENT, GI, EP lab, MRI, sedation, and interventional radiology
- Manage anesthesia services for busy NICU and PICU patient populations
- Perform procedures including caudal blocks, adductor canal blocks, interscalene blocks, arterial lines, and ESP blocks
- Supervise CRNAs, SRNAs, and anesthesia residents as needed
- Document patient care, place orders, and manage workflows in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care
